Unfortunately for the university, the Arnolfini is staffed by what are known in scientific circles as 'idiots'. It's a big, daft, cartoony sitcom, filmed before a studio audience. Although the show is set in a laboratory and everything, it's less about science and more about using its setting as an excuse for stupid jokes, endearingly chaotic characters and fast-paced, farcical plots.
