I dont have anything close to all of his stuff. But of the albums that I do have. This is my favorite. When Elvis recorded a song. No matter if it had already been done by somebody else. Or if somebody else recorded it after him. It is an Elvis song. So Willie records Always On My Mind and makes it his own song. One of his signature songs. He does a very good country version of Bridge Over Troubled Water. He had another hit on here. The Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning. If you are like me you're not old enough to the remember the original version of Whiter Shade Of Pale. And he also does a very good version of Let It Be Me. And a remake of his own The Party's Over. Which I always wanted a version of that after hearing Don Meredith do it on Monday NIght Football all those years. A very good cd.
