Iridescence is an optical phenomenon in which hue changes depending on the angle at which it is being viewed. Iridescence can be seen in cds, shells and bubbles. In 2003 he was involved in an animated short nominated at SIGGRAPH. In 2006 he created his own short which played at AMC movie theaters nationwide. Ramy received a Bachelor's of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University studying architecture.
