这款标新立异的《地下城》由Kalypso Media出品，你可以在游戏中成为阴暗的地下王国的霸主。作为地下城的主人，你主要靠引诱自信心爆棚的英雄们前来送死来赚钱。 游戏中你是地下城的主人，控制着地下城的一切建设但不能直接控制你手下的怪物和陷阱。你可以通过挖掘洞穴和建设怪物巢穴把地下城建设成一个相当危险的地方。随着你灵魂本质的上升你可以给你的地下城设置更多种类的装饰物，如书架，灯座，桌椅，尸体等，安放更多的战利品，招募更多种类的怪物。游戏里共有三种材质的墙面，分别为石块，砖块和地狱里的硫磺石，每一种都有不同的装饰物，可以让你的地下城呈现不同的风格。 游戏里你是恶魔，敌人是英雄，但你的目标并不是简单的将他们屠杀掉，你想要收获的是他们的灵魂。而英雄来到你的地下城的直接动机也不是为了消灭邪恶，有的是为了你的财宝，有的魔法师是想要你的图书馆里的禁忌的魔法也有的只是想来打架，假若他们的目的没有达成也可能顺手把你杀了来泄愤。你若想获得更多的灵魂本质最好是先满足他们的欲望然后再把它们在监狱和刑罚室里折磨致死，这样的灵魂才是最有价值的。当然从尸体上也可以搜刮到游戏的主要资源-金钱。 你的敌人除了英雄们，还有别的领主。比方说有一关里，你隔壁的僵尸领主凿破了你的城墙领着僵尸和骷髅来砸你的场，只要你的地下城之心不碎，你就会不断复活。 是的，Dungeons的一大区别就是你作为地下城领主终于实体化了，你就是一个强大的穿黒盔甲的东西，而且是一个可以不断升级技能树的魔武双修的东西而另一个可悲的区别是游戏淡化了你的怪物，没有了小鸡场，没有了训练场，怪物们不再能升级了。游戏里总共有10种英雄和15种怪物，有点少但好消息是这个游戏也是高度mod化的，游戏里的大多数数据文件都是xml和csv，脚本语言为lua，也许会把地图编辑器发布出来但目前它还很不友好。可以期待将来玩家会把它做得更完善的。
