A masterful use of space-aged production and space in general, this record compliments all contributors and emphasizes each of their strengths while creating one of 1999's most underrated albums. A characteristic Vadim produced and arranged record, the sound emerges undoubtedly underground, with wide-open organic beats and minimalist tracks that leave most of the room for intelligent lyrics and other-worldly scratching. Specifically, dub-leaning kick-snare combinations with trippy, floating keyboard samples and futuristic factory noises make up a style that the Russian-born producer has perfected before and doesn't stray from. DJ Primecuts of the U.K.'s Scratch Perverts brings his kinky DMC Championship style and cuts raw sonic syncopation on nine of the 19 tracks. The unifying thematic accomplishment that takes place on this venture of underground all-stars is the flow of the entire set as a whole work.
