Tranquil at times ("Encounter") and more aggressive at others ("Departure"), this is an album more about textures than anything else. Each track kind of morphs into the next, lulling the listener into a trance with the intoxicating soundscapes rather than nip at your senses with constantly changing or shifting arrangements. To some ears, this formula might be a tad boring, and to be honest, there were times during In Via that I found my interest waning.
