Comprised of two musicians, Mauro the vocalist and Mikkel the guitarist/drum programmer, GUTTURAL SLUG, unlike said prehistoric shark, never bite off more than they can chew, a quality that keeps the album chugging, from ever growing wearisome. And considering how these riffs and slams aren’t exactly out of the norm in this subgenre, the band should be further commended for keeping the energy level at its maximum notch, a level suited best for your everyday adrenaline-fiend.
