由Kristanna Loken（电影《终结者3》T-X 的扮演者）担纲主演的准科幻新剧"Painkiller Jane（魔影狂花）"将于2007年上半年播出。此前，"Painkiller Jane"的"电影版"（实际上是"电视电影版"，只在电视上播出的电影）已于2005年下半年在Sci-Fi Channel播出。平心而论，我觉得"电视电影版"的"Painkiller Jane"并不引人注目，而且又是准科幻形式，还不足以达到SG1、SGA等Sci-Fi Channel招牌节目的高度。
Based on the Event Comics series created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, Painkiller Jane will be produced by SCI FI, Insight Film Studios, Starz Media and Kickstar Comic Arts Studio. The series differs substantially from the 2005 Sci Fi Original Movie of the same name.
Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) plays Jane Vasko, a DEA agent who discovers that she has an amazing ability to heal rapidly from any injury. She is recruited by a secretive government agency that tracks down genetically enhanced individuals.
The first season is scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2007. SCI FI has ordered 22 one-hour episodes.
