专辑介绍： 《阿拉丁 Aladdin》因为Howard Ashman的逝世，内容与初期的故事变化很大，Howard的故事被彻底修改，“多余的”人物被砍掉。而Alan Menken和Howard为Aladdin所写的歌中，只有三首留在了影片中。电影中的其他歌曲，由Alan和Tim Rice完成。其实Howard Ashman最开始拒绝了参与《美女和野兽 Beauty and the Beast》的邀请，因为他知道自己时日不多（80年代末，那时AIDS就相当于死亡判决），如果在剩下的时间里他还能参与一部动画片的工作，他希望那是他最喜欢的《阿拉丁》。然而Howard最初构思的Aladdin，在导演Jeffrey Katzenberg等人看来，也许有趣，但是不可行，需要重新修改。他们觉得Howard完全可以先参加Beauty and the Beast的创作，完成后再回过头来继续Aladdin。就这样，尽管Howard和Alan已经为Aladdin写了几首歌了，最后他还是决定先完成Beauty and the Beast。结果虽然Beauty and the Beast大获成功，Howard最终还是没能够重回Aladdin的制作台。 由于这个故事的缘故，Aladdin的Demo里大家可以听到许多从没听过的歌曲，那样的熟悉而又陌生，即使是那些留下来的歌曲也反反复复改动过多次，你能从中感受到很多不一样的东西。很多人认为狮子王是迪斯尼的巅峰之作，不过在我看来，Alan Menken 和 Howard Ashman 携手的年代才是迪斯尼真正的巅峰。 专辑曲目: 01.
