Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby, Jr. (born May 3, 1903) was an American singer and actor. Crosby's trademark warm bass-baritone voice made him one of the best-selling recording artists of the 20th century, with over half a billion records in circulation. One of the state songs of Louisiana is a popular song named 'You Are My Sunshine', which was first recorded by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell in 1939. It was covered by Bing Crosby in 1941.
