The first set of reels alone are worth the price of the CD: it starts out fast, then each tune in the set turns a corner and gets faster. I confess that I could live without the songs on the CD, but overall this is such an upbeat collection of tunes played so well that I could rate most of this 5 stars. Amongst the traditional tunes you'll get to hear a few of Carroll's fine compositions. Trian's second recording in 1995 features many original tunes from both Liz and Billy along with some fine songs from Dáithí. Special guests include Ciarán Curran, bouzouki-guitar and Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, piano, synthesizer, bodhran.
