Open Fire', originally released in 1985, is was the band's first live album. This album mixes great hard rocking', foot stomping' anthems with great melodies, Dave Meniketti's powerful voice belting out the lyrics like his life depended on it. Majestic Rock. 2005.This new CD was all I hoped it would be: To my ear it sounds great! The mastering has great Y&T punch to it but isn't overblown dynamically, and it's a remarkably clear recording considering it was originally made over 20 years ago. It's not perfect, but it's very good. If you're a fan of Y&T and especially of this album, definitely go for it!
