专辑介绍： Grace Slick在顶替掉Signe Anderson加入Jefferson Airplane以后，Jefferson Airplane才开始大红大紫，专辑单曲到处上榜，其实之前Grace Slick已经有相当的名气了，领着这支叫做The Great Society的乐队，和当时的The Grateful Dead ,Janis Joplin不相上下,虽然不是乐团主导，但是Jefferson Airplane的女主唱Grace Slick能写能唱，慧黠、犀利而发人深省的歌词，触及药物、左翼、反战等六~年代的发烧议题，加上充满爆发力的美好嗓音，让她充满个人魅力。《Surrealistic Pillow》专辑中的"White Rabbit"便是Grace Slick的代表创作之一，歌曲极短，其灵感来自十九世纪知名英国作家Lewis Carroll (1832-98)所书写的两本经典童书《爱丽丝梦游仙境(Alice's Adventures in Wonderland)》和《爱丽丝镜中奇缘(Through the Looking-Glass)》，在那个瀰漫花与大麻香味的六~年代，"White Rabbit"歌词以大家耳熟能详的童书情节，来对应吸食迷幻药之后产生的幻觉经验，搭配由缓渐急的编曲设计，彷彿一步步带领听眾走进奇妙的迷幻世界。 Grace Slick (born October 30, 1939) is an American singer and songwriter, who was one of the lead singers of the rock groups Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, Starship, and also as a solo artist, for nearly three decades, from the mid-1960s to the mid-1990s. Slick is considered to be one of the most important musicians in bringing the 1960s psychedelic rock to mainstream appeal.
