【内容简介】：This half-hour comedy chronicles the hilarious world of Christopher Titus and his totally messed-up poor white trash family. Between his drunken father, his dimwitted brother, and his goody-goody best friend, it's amazing Titus is alive, let alone engaged to a "normal" girl.
Titus adapted Christopher Titus' stand-up routine in a novel way: each episode is narrated by Titus from a black & white "Neutral Space," from which he comments on the events as they unfold, punctuated by short, surreal flashbacks to his childhood and adolescence. The hilarious interplay between these three levels of narrative is sometimes amazingly complex and even contradictory, highlighting the exceedingly black nature of the show's humor. Alas, the Fox network lived up to its history of commissioning innovative television and then sabotaging it; the third and blackest season was made particularly incoherent by showing the sequences out of logical order.
根据Christopher Titus（最喜欢的喜剧演员之一）的stand-up改编，以Christopher的生活为原型，此剧又展示里一个dysfunctional family，不过和其他的同类型的sitcom不同的是，这部可以成为终极dysfuntional family。Christopher和弟弟还有朋友Tommy合开一家车行，弟弟有点呆，朋友Tommy很靠得住，就是有点anal，女朋友是个正常人，非常hot，父亲结过5次婚，母亲是神经病，这一家子人凑到一起，不热闹才怪。
个人评述：由于薪水问题和播放时间问题，Titus播放3季后就被cancel，但是并不能说Titus不好看，众多人认为历史上最不应该cancel的sitcom就是Titus。开播第一季就成为FOX历史上收视率最高的mid-season replacement。第二季收视率也在和Friends抗衡，由于FOX新领导上任，把Titus的播放时间换来换去，搞得观众总是错过时间观看，最后收视率下降了，而且Titus先生认为薪水太低，最终停拍。
每集开始也是以stand-up开始，形式和Seinfeld很像，最突出的是在sitcom中第一次使用flashback，Arrested Development中的flashback也是从这里学来的。而且剧情搞笑无比，FOX把它cancel是一个严重的错误。S1,2的DVD已经发行，S3也公布了发行时间，有机会的话大家可以看一下，偶超级推荐！！！
最近好像很多人喜欢看the war at home，如果你喜欢twah，这个更不能错过，类型一样，都是以dysfunctional family为主题，内容上Titus超出前者很多，这就是偶一直不喜欢twah的原因，和Titus没法比的说。
