专辑介绍： Earthling，由制作人Tim Saul和说唱手Mau组建，需要特别补充的是，他们也是Portishead的朋友,他们1995年处女碟《Radar》中有三首作品就是由Geoff Barrow协助完成的，所以可以预料两者之间的作品风格是何等的相似了。在完成了他们的第一张正式大碟《Radar》之后，乐队沉寂了很长时间，才终于在2004年带来了让人望眼欲穿的新专辑《Humandust》。其实这张唱片也早就在1998年就已经录制完毕但一直拖了6年之后才得以发行，这让我不自觉再次想起Portishead，也是唱片早已经录制完毕却久久未能发行。新专辑基本延续了《Radar》的特色，唯一的遗憾就是歌词欠奉，所以无法知晓Mau这次到底说了些什么。 "Heavier and darker than « Radar » (their first album signed on EMI) , « Human Dust » let itself majestually glide from one side to the other, like a poetic but weird road movie... The end result was never gonna fit with EMI, of course : thanks, bye and good luck... The band members took different ways, drifting around the planet for few years... Having an eye on the internet, the band finally realized, a long time after the mythic « Radar », a community of people exists everywhere in the world, still speculating about Earthling and their hypothetic album that exists, but has never has been released!! The mission was clear, ploting the fatality and the arbitrary giving back, finally, « Human Dust » accessible to everyone !!!"
