Costello 先生的说法。 在工业设计领域，Costello 先生颇具声望，在加入 Think3 之前，他在 Cadence 设计系统公司担任 CEO 兼总裁达10年之久，并成功地使 Cadence 成为全球领先的电子设计自动化（EDA）软件和服务提供商。他认为在近30年中，CAD 行业最大的问题是缺乏创新。“从最初的二维绘图到今天的 CAD 软件，设计软件行业在近30年的时间里并没有产生质的飞越，Think3 的目标就是要颠覆传统的 CAD 软件模式，为用户提供方便、易用、符合人们使用习惯的设计工具，使任何一个普通人都能够利用我们的软件随心所欲地设计新产品。” Costello 认为，今天的市场竞争环境对工业设计提出了很高的要求，从小家电、日用品到汽车、飞机，造型设计都是赢得市场的第一步。以汽车工业为例，在近十年的飞速发展历程中，引擎没有太大变化，但外型却是日新月异，不同款式汽车之间的最大差别是外型、装饰，而不是内部结构，这就要求设计软件能够方便易用，使设计人员能够快速应对市场需求的变化。另一方面，如何将艺术设计能力与制造能力结合起来，使设计出的造型能够实际地被生产出来，成为真正的产品？这也是令传统 CAD 软件用户头疼的事情，目前，绝大多数产品生产线都是自动化的，这就带来了一个无法回避的问题：越是艺术性高的设计，越难以制造。ThinkDesign 可以很好地解决这一问题，利用它，用户可以很快设计出新的造型，并在此基础上按照客户的不同要求进行变形，在短时间内设计出数十、数百、数千个同类造型，并将最终设计结果自动输入生产模型，完成整个设计和制造过程。Costello 强调，虽然在 Think3 之前也有一些著名的公司提供了三维设计软件，但这些软件最大的缺点是难以使用，用户需要经过长时间的培训才能掌握基本的设计技能，不便于非专业用户使用。虽然中国用户对 Think3 知之甚少，但在欧美市场上，Think3 已经赢得了众多客户的青睐，包括雷诺、波音、松下、本田、福特等公司都是 Think3 产品的重要用户。 CODE 安装破解方法： - 打开光盘目录 \thinkdesign\install.exe 执行安装，别忘了选择安装语言为英文。 - 完成后拷贝 \SHooTERS 文件夹下的 think3_20081.lic 和 thinkflx.exe 到安装目录 \common\drivers\flexlm8.1 下，提示覆盖请选择“是”。 - 启动 \common\drivers\flexlm8.1 下的 lmtools.exe，切到 Config Services，通过 Browse 浏览按钮 将 Path to the lmgrd.exe file 定位到 X:\Program Files\think3\2008.1\common\drivers\flexlm8.1\Lmgrd.exe； 将 Path to the license file 定位到 X:\Program Files\think3\2008.1\common\drivers\flexlm8.1\think3_20081.lic； 将 Path to the dedug log file 定位到 X:\Program Files\think3\2008.1\common\drivers\flexlm8.1\*.log （log 文件名任意，可自己新建）； 勾选下方的 Use Services 和 Start Server at Power Up，按下右上的 Save Service，点“是”。 再切到 Start/Stop/Reread，按下 Start Server 按钮，当下方出现 "Server Start Successful." 时即表示成功。 - 右击我的电脑 -> 属性 -> 高级 -> 环境变量，新建用户变量 "THINKFLX_LICENSE_FILE"，值 "7171@pc-name"，其中的 "pc-name" 是你的电脑名称。新建用户变量 "LICETYPE"，值 "ONLYFLEX"。 设定为中文方法： 安装好后右击桌面上 ThinkDesign 2008.1 的快捷方式，在目标一栏 "X:\Program Files\think3\2008.1\thinkdesign\bin\tdesign.exe" 后面加上 "空格-chinese" 即可。也许还有其他方法，大家可以去搜一下。
