It is composed from various computation tools: The basic computations are performed with a powerful Finite Element solver, which is used for transient or modal analyses. Secondary analyses can then be done subsequently to the former: fatigue analyses, chromospectrograms ("waterfalls computations"), dynamic load amplification factor determinations or Campbell diagrams are available. 1.2 Models Wind Turbines are modeled as a set of separate components: tower, bedplate, gearbox, rotor shaft, rotor, coupling shaft and generator. The package includes predefined parametric WT components, ready to use by the user, who has just to modify the parameters before launching the computations. When the provided models do not match the requirements, external components can be built and integrated within the global WT.
