　 　　在古老的香都王国，意大利旅行家马可-波罗告别可汗，准备返回自己的家乡。为维护友谊，可汗欲将充满神奇力量的魔法金币送给他。不料，对王位垂涎已久的大臣福林却寻机偷走金币，随后便隐匿无踪。可汗得知真相后，将自己随身携带的金币一分为二，送给老马可。凭借这半枚金币，他们的后人可以穿梭时空。一旦两家人相聚，金币便可重获魔力。 　　时光飞逝，老马可的后裔小马可已经长成英俊青年。他佩戴祖传的半枚金币，历尽艰难险阻，来到香都王国。在海鸥瑞杰等朋友的帮助下，小马可终于揭开金币之谜，并从福林手中夺回了被窃走的金币，救出了可爱的荷花公主。但福林却再次出现，派出秃鹫赖古再次抢走了荷花公主手中的金币。为了伸张正义，惩处恶魔，小马可又踏上了征程…… 幕后制作

　　《马可-波罗回香都》是由中国大连阿凡提国际动画公司与美国托尼文索公司联合摄制完成的一部动画故事片。 　　这部抒情加惊险的动画大片是中国、美国、韩国、澳大利亚、加拿大、保加利亚、斯洛伐克等7国数百位动画艺术家历时5年创作完成的，共绘制了12万张原动画，这些画稿如果连着铺在地上足有60公里长。这部讲述中国和意大利人民友好交往的动画片，不仅有曲折优美的故事，而且随着小马可的航海历程，还展现了世界各地的风情。小马可的朋友变色恐龙，中国公主的朋友大象迈克和恶魔的帮凶秃鹰，都采用拟人化手法，显得夸张而有趣。 　　《马可-波罗回香都》采用了最先进的电脑特技，还邀请了国际上的当红歌星演唱其中的7首插曲。影片配音采取了英语和普通话两种语言，中文版配音工作是在上海电影译制厂进行的。丁建华担任配音导演，乔榛则为片中威严的忽必烈可汗配音。为小马可配音的是上海有线电视台体育节目主持人译男。 　　这部影片的创作可以说是一次国际性合作的尝试。由于创作人员来自不同的国度，文化背景存在差异，语言交流也有很大障碍，给影片创作带来一定的难度。导演朗-马可说：“这是我从未遇到过的最艰巨的任务，作为一个处于影片制作最中心的人物，我要以总导演的身份，用最佳办法把我的想法传递给上百位我从未谋面的人。” 代码 Marco.Polo.Return.to.Xanadu.2001.iNTERNAL.DVDRip.XViD-SPRiNTER http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296074/ Date: 2010.05 Director: Ron Merk Genre: Animation / Family Plot: An adventure story about a young Marco whose ancestor was the descendant of the famous historical Marco Polo, takes an exciting journey to the mythical kingdom of Xanadu.
