Futuremark今天终于正式发布了面向DX11平台的全新一代3D图形性能基准测试软件“3DMark 11”,而此时距离DX10 3DMark Vantage已经过去了两年半之久,DX11显卡和操作系统也早已面世了一年多。出于机缘巧合,3DMark 11这个名字不仅代表了它的DX11独享特性,也即将伴随我们共同走进新的2011年。
Futuremark表示,3DMark 11的测试重点是实时利用DX11 API更新和渲染复杂的游戏世界,通过六个不同测试环节得到一个综合评分,藉此评判一套PC系统的基准性能水平。
Futuremark同时强调了基准性能测试的公平性,明确提出了自己所遵守的几大原则。在作弊、优化、合作等条目满天飞的今天,这些基本原则更应该为每个人、尤其是厂商们时刻牢记心中。

1、DirectX 11
基于原生DX11引擎,全面使用DX11 API的所有新特性,包括曲面细分、计算着色器、多线程。
2、64位 原生64位编译程序,独立的32位、64位可执行文件,并支持兼容模式。 3、新测试场景
六个全新的测试场景,包括四个图形测试、一个物理测试、一个综合测试,全面衡量GPU、CPU性能。
4、Bullet物理库

3DMark 11版本划分:
- 基础版(Basic Edition):免费。可进行性能级(Performance)预设的测试,包括四个图形测试场景、物理测试场景、综合测试场景、音频视觉演示(分辨率固定于720p)。可在线创建账户、查询和对比结果。有广告。
- 高级版(Advanced Edition):19.95美元,已可预订。可进行入门级(Entry)、性能级(Performance)、极限级(Extreme)三种预设的测试(不常用的高等级被取消),允许自定义测试设置。音频视觉演示可自定义分辨率。允许离线测试结果管理和循环测试。在线结果保存无限制。没有广告。
- 专业版(Professional Edition):商业使用授权,995.00美元,已可预订。允许演示循环,附带画质工具,支持命令行自动运行。优先技术支持。
三、3DMark 11预设级别
3DMark Vantage首次引入了四种不同的预设和成绩级别,从高到低分别是极限级(Extreme/X)、高端级(High/H)、性能级(Performance/P)、入门级(Entry/E),分别适合不同档次的PC系统。
3DMark 11继承并改良了这种统计方式,尤其是去掉了几乎没什么人用过的高端级(H),其他三种也有了新的变化:
- 极限级(X):分辨率固定为全高清的1080p 1920×1080,支持极高负载,适用于高端游戏PC,尤其是Radeon HD 5970、GeForce GTX 580这种顶级显卡,并且按照设计在未来几年内也不会辱没“显卡杀手”的荣誉。
- 性能级(P):分辨率固定为高清的720p 1280×720,支持中等级别负载,适用于绝大多数主流游戏PC,比如Radeon HD 5770、GeForce GTX 460之类的显卡,不过发布初期仍然需要高端卡才能跑出流畅的帧率。很显然,这个级别在今后将依然是我们最常见的评定标准。
- 入门级(E):分辨率固定为标清的1024×600,支持低负载,适用于大多数笔记本和上网本,特别是集成显卡。
同时可以看出,3DMark 11预设分辨率已经全部改为宽屏比例,顺应了时代发展。
除了三种预设级别,3DMark 11同样支持自定义设置并测试,玩家可以自行调节分辨率、抗锯齿和各向异性过滤、曲面细分、阴影与照明、景深、色彩等各种参数的级别与质量,不过和3DMark Vantage一样,自定义设置下的测试是不会给出任何具体分数的。
而且要注意的是,如果分辨率改为非16:9的情况,则程序会自动拉伸到16:9。

Features
Offline result management
By default 3DMark 11 submits and stores your benchmark results online on the 3DMark website. If you have 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition you can also choose to save your result files to your hard drive or another local offline location.
Benchmark looping
This setting allows to the benchmark to repeat a user defined number of times. Benchmark looping is an effective way to test the stability of a system after upgrading or overclocking a component.
Demo looping
This setting allows the audio visual demo to be set up to loop indefinitely for display or trade show purposes. Demo looping is only available in the 3DMark 11 Professional Edition.
Image quality tool
This tool renders pixel perfect images from any point during the tests or the audio visual demo. Using these images you can compare differences between different settings, drivers and or hardware. The image quality tool is only available in the 3DMark 11 Professional Edition.
Command line automation
This feature, which is only available in the 3DMark 11 Professional Edition, allows the benchmark to be configured and automated using scripts running from the command line.
3DMark score
Benchmark presets offer a convenient way of scaling the benchmark load to provide relevant results for all levels of hardware. These pre-selected combinations of settings represent successively more advanced levels of visual quality. When running 3DMark 11 with one of the presets selected, the benchmark produces a score for that preset. The 3DMark score is calculated differently for each preset which means that scores are not comparable across different presets.
Entry preset
This preset is designed for benchmarking with a low level of load on the graphics card. The benchmark runs in 1024 x 600 resolution making it suitable for most DirectX 11 capable systems including notebooks and netbooks.
Performance preset
This preset is designed for benchmarking with a moderate load on the graphics card. The benchmark runs in 1280 x 720 (720p) making it suitable for most DirectX 11 capable gaming
Extreme preset
This preset is designed for benchmarking with a very heavy load on the graphics card. The benchmark runs in 1920 x 1080 (1080p). Although this setting may well bring many PCs to their knees today it represents the likely loads used by high end games in years to come. This preset is particularly well suited to high-end gaming PCs.
Custom preset
The benchmark can be run with customized settings. When it is run in a resolution with an aspect ratio other than 16:9, the rendering is done within a 16:9 letterbox.
