◎简　　介

　 　　郭靖（冯淬帆饰）是著名电视天气报导员，20年来以讽刺性的报导方式备受观众欢迎，但郭靖其实一直梦想成为成功的新闻主播，第一手报导震撼世界的大新闻，可是他已届退休一直事与愿违。他独自抚养一群子女，对他们有过度的期望。郭美美（毛舜筠饰）是个名律师，但她的老公姚明（曾志伟饰）是无业者，在家打理家务家。二人结婚多年未育。郭晶晶（何韵诗饰）是百货超市主管，是个拥有男孩子性格的女孩，偏偏她喜欢上娇滴滴的男朋友乐易瓦（黄宗泽饰），到了谈婚论嫁阶段。小儿子郭富城（陆永饰）是个宅男，单恋玉女明星Vivian（张馨予饰），因而得罪了在追求她的大富商Roberto（苏永康饰）。郭靖以为他知道什么才是对子女们最好的，于是不断干预儿女的婚姻大事，结果弄到两个女儿都与老公分手，儿子亦与他翻脸，郭靖剩下自己孤单一人。此时，郭靖得到一个惊天动地的消息，世界面对前所未有的危机。郭终于有机会当上主播，他发现这也是一家人重新开始的机会...
