在PC平台赛车模拟新作「netKar Pro」中，虽然不像平常其他一般的赛车竞速游戏那样会把实际存在的车体、赛道或是车手等等给收录在游戏内，但是游戏中却提供了玩家许多自订项目，例如说是轮胎的空气压力、悬吊系统的坚固程度等等都可以让玩家们来自行调整，甚至玩家还可以设定比赛的环形赛道的气温或是赛道路面的表面温度等等。 nKP是最年轻的“赛车模拟器”，和LFS一样是独立的小组单独开发的。nKP基于早先的netKar，但是对整个物理引擎和图像引擎进行了彻底的革新，把赛车模拟推向了一个更高的境界。距离来说，一般的赛车游戏当中，你的赛车都是被启动好的，但是在nKP里面，你要按顺序依次接通主电源，发动机预热开关，然后旋动点火开关，之后别以为这样就可以出发了，你还要进行怠速。就是这样。另外nKP还能够进行AIM导出，简单一点说就是它的调教数据和行驶状态能够被真正的赛车调教用工具读取。你完全可以把你的参数和调教和真实世界当中的赛车进行比较。再说简单一点，你每次游戏后生成的车辆状态数据都能被任何一个F1车队技师的笔记本电脑读取并进行分析。关于nKP和LFS的拟真程度谁高谁低的问题在国外各个游戏的支持者都有自己的看法，但是能把它放在和LFS一样的位置足以看到nKP也达到了相当的水准。nKP最引以为自豪的就是他的轮胎系统，可以说是迄今为止所有的赛车游戏当中对轮胎模拟最为出色的一个。而且轮胎的物理参数直接作用于对方向盘的反馈，拥有方向盘的玩家可以体会到非常细腻的路面细节。nKP也将采取开放平台的策略，允许第三方供应MOD. 模拟器提供了高级轮胎模型（可以被弄脏，磨破，并在视觉上呈现出来），完全交互式的座舱（就像飞行模拟器一样）。 开发团体与真实的赛车公司Sparco（设计方向盘，头盔和赛车服）一起工作，包括AIM显示器（提供了整套官方AIM数据系统给netKar Pro）、 Cooper/AVON 轮胎，Brembo（刹车系统）和测试工具。他们同样也工作于Formula 3 team Target Racing车队，包括赛车工程师Andrea Quintarelli和车手Riccardo Azzoli（驾驶Formula Gloria,雷诺方程式和Formula 3）。
