专辑介绍： 洛杉矶(Los Angeles)是西班牙语音译，意思是“City of Angels，天使之城”，1769年8月2日（天主教圣母节第二天），西班牙远征队为寻找开设教会地点来到这里，1781年建镇，并把这里称为“天使女王圣母马丽亚的城镇”，后简称“天使之城”。影片很浪漫的把洛杉矶描绘成一个真正的天使城市，而一个天使爱上了一个凡人，为了爱，他宁愿坠落尘间，演绎了一段凄美的爱情故事。 Gabriel Yared在《英国病人 The English Patient》获得奥斯卡之后有差不多2年的低迷期，几乎没有什么像样的作品，以至于他这部精美的《天使之城 City of Angels》也连带的遭遇不公，虽然导演Brad Silberling很欣赏，官方原声还是决定用歌曲填充，Gabriel的配乐仅仅收录了4首组曲约20分钟，完整配乐版则是61分钟的完全收录。Gabriel的配乐再次显现了他英国病人中的那种灵气，用简单的乐器制造的优美空灵的旋律加上女声吟唱，给人十足的“在天堂”的感受，在这种主调的基础上又显得风格多变，使得整张配乐不至于太单一，丰满了许多，情绪随着乐曲变换却又不显得凌乱，绝对是Gabriel Yared最出色的作品之一。 这张Bootleg的来源是1区收藏版DVD的附赠内容，制作者还加入了另外两部德语片的配乐共6首（Track 43-48），分别是《欲望之翼/柏林苍穹下 Der Himmel Uber Berlin/Wings of Desire》(1989)和《咫尺天涯 In Weiter Ferne, So Nah!/Faraway, So Close!》(1993)。 由Cheef Roberts发布于HQShare.NET的APE压制而成，感谢Cheef Roberts。Thank you Cheef Roberts.
