王祖贤、曾志伟等主演，改编自畅销小说，由罗卓瑶执导，以不同的角度看藩金莲。
故事背景设定在文化大革命时代，一心要讨回武松情仇债的藩金莲（王祖贤饰），因此没有喝尽孟婆汤，投胎到今生化为另一个苦命人单玉莲，武氏兄弟成为结义兄弟武戊大和武龙，武大郎则变成了有钱的快乐人，西门庆变成风流的设计师。
藩金莲投胎成学生单玉莲，暗恋着武龙（林俊贤饰），却被一个色老头给强暴，在当时保守的年代被认为是淫妇，只好离乡以小卖买维生，她结识了今生的武大郎（曾志伟饰），为了更好的生活而嫁给他，又遇见之前辜负她的武龙，在前世记忆交错之下遇见今生的西门庆（扇力纹饰），展开一段混乱的多角恋情....。
