Albert West, entire name Albert Westelaken, born on September 2 1949 in 's-Hertogenbosch, is a Dutch pop-singer and music producer. By the end of 1960 and at the beginning of 1970, He was singer of the band The Shuffles. In 1973 he left the group to start solo career，in May his single 'Ginny come lately' became (a cover of Brian Hyland) a hit in Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
