作者介绍： Jeremy.Soule（杰里米•苏尔）是美国的一位屡获殊荣的电子游戏音乐作曲家。苏尔的配乐常常被评论称赞为跻身电脑及电子游戏行业中最佳的行列，其品质可以与许多电影的管弦配乐相媲美。苏尔的音乐中有很大比例是电子合成的，而又能很好地模仿真实的管弦乐，以至于经常无法与真正的管弦乐相区分。但是他也经常和真正的管弦乐队及合唱团合作，比如London Philharmonia、Northwest Sinfonia、Prague Philharmonic orchestras以及Pinewood Singers。 苏尔还在上高中的时候就是一个电子游戏迷，那时他觉得大多数游戏的音乐都“缺少刺激与热情”。上完高中后，他制作了一个实验性的demo，运用了传统的电影式手法来展示他所感觉的电子游戏音乐应该是个什么样子。苏尔把磁带发给LucasArts和Squaresoft，在Square审查了demo后，很快便被给予了为《艾薇莫的秘密》配乐的工作。完成后的游戏具有非传统的配乐特点，将环境背景音效（如风吹和海浪）融入音乐，并且使用了更圆润的管弦乐音色，与大多数电脑角色扮演类游戏中的史诗音乐形成了强烈的对比。 当罗恩•吉尔勃特离开LucasArts并建立他自己的公司——Humongous Entertainment的时候，苏尔离开了Squaresoft去为吉尔勃特的儿童冒险系列游戏Putt-Putt配乐。苏尔在Humongous工作期间，遇到了电子游戏设计师克里斯•泰勒，之后为他的主要项目《横扫千军》和《地牢围攻》创作配乐。在这两个项目的中间，苏尔建立了自己的公司——Artistry Entertainment，开始了自由创作者的工作。 从此Artistry Entertainment得到发展并且为一系列十分成功的游戏配乐，比如《激战：派系》、《星球大战：旧共和国武士》、《上古卷轴3：晨风》以及《哈利波特》系列，使得苏尔的音乐能够跻身电子游戏行业传播中的最佳行列。 专辑介绍： 一、《激战：预言》Guild Wars Prophecies [APE] 发行时间：2005年
